Franklin's very first community garden was completed in the spring of 2011 and every single bed was leased. A wait list became necessary.
2013 will begin our 3rd season.
King Street Memorial Community Garden is located at King Street Memorial Park.
There are currently 46 raised beds, individually leased. We will be adding 4 more beds Spring 2013 for a total of 50.
Making even More gardens in more locations is currently on the agenda for the community garden committee.
A Big Idea + 10 months of planning + a very engaged community = 1 incredible community garden.
